The mission of Minneapolis MOSAIC is to celebrate the richness and diversity of the arts and cultures of Minneapolis through a summer-long celebration beginning in June. The success of Minneapolis MOSAIC is realized by accomplishing four goals:
Minneapolis MOSAIC's first four years were very successful. Each year more than 100 culturally diverse events have been a part of the celebrations in June, July and August.

A summer Solstice dance performance on the Stone Arch Bridge…
A performance of Indonesian gamelan music…
Four days of mural painting on Nicollet Avenue…
Spanish storytime hours…
A Bastille Day celebration…
Movies under the stars at Loring Park…
That is all a part of this year’s MINNEAPOLIS MOSAIC, a celebration of cultural diversity through the arts.
Our rich cultural scene is one of the things that we love about living here—and we love to share it with those who are visiting us. We're a national leader, with world-class museums and orchestras, one-of-a-kind cultural festivals and unmatched local theater. More than 100 languages are spoken here and our city is comprised of people who have come from all over the world.
MINNEAPOLIS MOSAIC is a chance to celebrate our city’s treasures! It all starts on Saturday, June 7 with the kick-off celebration downtown on Hennepin Avenue. You won’t want to miss it. Use this guide to find out about the 100 plus events happening all summer.
Se you out there!
